History
Tadkon cooperative credit union (TaCCUL) was created in 1973 by a group of cooperators who recognized the need for a locally created and managed financial institution capable of mobilizing and channeling indigenous Financial Resources in the form of loans and addressing other specific needs of its members and the community through the appropriation and effective implementation of cooperative Principles and Value with the overall aim of contributing to Poverty alleviation and Socio-economic development. TaCCUL is established and managed by individuals, cooperate bodies and other groups who share in common, the ambition to improve on the living condition of individuals or collectively through the engineering and sharing of finance and related services.
TaCCUL was registered on the 2nd of February 1994 with NO. NW/CO/28/94/112 following the passing law NO. 92/006 of 14th August 1992 to Cooperative Societies and Common Initiative Groups in the Republic of Cameroon and its decree of application and that on the 03/07/2001. It obtained its license with NO.19437 as an affiliate of CamCCUL, to exercise Micro Finance Activities in conformity with all laws and Regulation governing micro finance activities in the CEMAC Regulation of 13th April 2020 laying down conditions for the exercise and control of micro finance activities in the CEMAC Region. Recognizing the need to comply with the Provision of all legislation regulating cooperative societies, notably the OHADA Uniform Act of 15th December 2010 governing cooperatives societies as well as the Article of Association of CamCCUL
